you're totally right, it's actually pretty big for a jazz club now that i think about it! i guess in saying it was tiny, i moreso meant that it always felt magically contained, in that a vibrant ecosystem of so many people somehow fit into it one basement. and that it's just one small piece of the larger tapestry of jazz in new york city. thank you so much for the kind words! xo
